About Dr Venus

Education and training

After graduating medicine from the University of Melbourne in 2018 with first class honours, Dr Venus completed his medical internship and Basic Physician Training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He then undertook Neurology Advanced Training at the Royal Melbourne and Austin Hospitals, culminating in subspecialty fellowships in cognitive neurology and stroke at Royal Melbourne.

Practice style

Dr Venus, who prefers that patients simply call him Cam, prides himself on his friendly demeanour and clear communication skills. He strives for a collaborative rather than prescriptive approach to management. A particular emphasis is placed on explaining diagnoses and results thoroughly, and taking time to understand what matters most to you and your loved ones.
